Justin joined WQIS after functioning as East Region Leader, SVP for Zurich Global Corporate Marine responsible for the New York and Atlanta Offices. He brings twenty years of underwriting and management experience in the marine insurance industry. Prior to Zurich, Justin worked for Swiss Reinsurance America Corp. and Liberty International Underwriters.

Justin is a graduate of SUNY Maritime College and holds a degree in Marine Transportation.

John is the Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of Water Quality Insurance Syndicate and of Wall Street Marine, Inc., a WQIS subsidiary. He has been a leader at WQIS since 1996.

Prior to joining WQIS, John worked as a financial analyst at the Continental Insurance Company and as an accountant at E.F. Hutton and Company. He earned a B.S. in Economics at Rutgers University and an MBA at Rider University. John is also a member of the Society of Insurance Financial Management.

Ryan A. Puttick is Senior Vice President & Chief Claims Officer at the Water Quality Insurance Syndicate (WQIS) and is based in New York, New York. He is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy and is an attorney admitted in New York and New Jersey.

Ryan has over twenty years of experience in the field of marine insurance and maritime law. Ryan joined the claims department of the Water Quality Insurance Syndicate in 2013 where he manages marine pollution claims throughout the entire claim life cycle from initial response to prompt and accurate resolution, and recovery when applicable. He also directs and manages relevant litigation involving the Syndicate, and its Assureds.

He has significant mediation and arbitration experience, as well as having participated in a vast number of court conferences and trials throughout the United States in both Federal and State Courts. Ryan’s prior experience includes working at a leading New York maritime law firm and for an International Group P&I Club. Ryan is a Proctor member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States.

Ms. Lange has been a member of the Water Quality Insurance Syndicate team since 2005, having most recently served as Senior Underwriter. In that time, she has handled thousands of pollution accounts. Gail has earned a fantastic reputation for her in-depth product knowledge of and focus on client service, embodying the values we hold at WQIS.
